1) Un-Wine with Us

Just as the name suggests, this event is the best way to unwind and sit back with a glass of wine in hand. Un-Wine is an engaging afternoon of live music and both beer and wine tastings. You’re not going to want to miss this event, taking place on September 23 from 12-6pm in Cosca Regional Park!


2) Riverfest

Geared towards families, Riverfest is a free fall extravaganza of hayrides, quality artisans and great food. Entertainment will be provided in the form of live music, spoken word poetry and live theatre performances. Feeling competitive? There will even be a pie-eating contest in the Laurel Museum as well as an apple-carving contest! Don’t miss Riverfest happening on September 24 from 12-5pm at Riverfront Park in Laurel, Maryland!


3) Das Best Oktoberfest

Welcome in the month of October by tasting some quality Oktoberfest brews! Over 150 International domestic and local Maryland beers, domestic wines and Schnapps will be available for tasting at Das Best Oktoberfest! In addition to the wealth of different tasting options, you will receive a complimentary Souvenir Tasting Glass. Expect live music, German and festival food and more. Head to National Harbor Plateau on September 30 from 12-6pm to get into the spirit of the season!


4) Cemetery Arts & Sites Tour

Get into the Halloween spirit and learn something while you do it! The Cemetery Arts & Sites Tour is a guided tour that will teach you all about cemetery art and offers the opportunity to explore local cemeteries with an experienced archeological historian. Lunch is included, and the tour starts at the Marietta House Museum on October 21 at 9am!


5) The Great Jack O’ Lantern Campfire
